CLASS REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Class fees are payable IN FULL upon registration and are refunded if CSG cancels the class. A refund for STORE CREDIT ONLY is given if you cancel no later than 1 week before the class date. Fees are forfeited and no transfer to another class can be made within 7 days prior to class. This is so teachers may prepare for class and know that the class minimum is met. You may, of course, let someone else come in your place. You may register by mail, using the order form on this web site, by phone, or at the shop. We will be glad to answer any questions: just call us at (410) 263-3897. Students: Please come with all your supplies to the first class . In order to keep our class fees down to a minimum, we ask your cooperation in using your class discount to purchase the majority of your fabrics and supplies at Cottonseed Glory. Cottonseed Glory will be offering this wonderful quilt, designed by Susan Garmin, as patterns or patterns with kits.
Each block in this very special quilt features a tall ship, each from a different country, and surrounding each ship there is a garland of flowers native to that country. The floral border is made up of all the different flowers in the blocks and in each corner there is a mariner's compass. When I saw this quilt, I thought it would be perfect for our area. The applique can be done by hand or machine. You can find a picture on the website of Quakertown Quilts. Our prices will be the same as theirs, but you will not have to pay postage. If you are interested, we'd like to know in order to estimate how many to order and kits to cut. E-mail or call and let us know what you think.
Our mailing list has grown so large that there might come a time when we have to go to e-mail for our class schedules. If so, there will always be printed copies available in the shop.. Many of you already know that you get the class info via -e-mail as much as two weeks ahead of the mail and that you know about promotions, new arrivals, special events that are not mailed out. HAND PIECING - Learn to create beautiful patchwork blocks with just a needle and thread. Kelly Kout will share all the tips and techniques for this very relaxing way of piecing. MOMS & KIDS CLASS - Share the joy of sewing and pass it on to the next generation as you learn basic cutting and sewing skills with Susan Luddy.
